Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, all regular services and hours may be subject to change. Thus, if the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are close to boarding.
Spending the night at the airport
Iquitos airport is small, but it remains open 24 hours a day, so spending the night inside the enclosure can be a good option if you do not want to go to a hotel.
Where to rest: Although the seats in the Arrivals Hall are more comfortable, layover passengers can only access certain areas of the terminal. On the upper level, you will find a wide area next to the coffee shop where you can rest peacefully, especially if you have a sleeping bag. In the boarding area, there is also a VIP lounge, but this closes at night. On the other hand, the closest hotels to the airport are located inside the city.
Baggage: There are no lockers nor left luggage service inside the enclosure.
Eating and drinking: One of the coffee shops inside the terminal is open 24 hours a day.
Wi-Fi: Access is free.
The closest hotels to the airport, found inside the city and the surroundings, include:
Poseidon Guest House (0.4 km/0.2 miles)
Amazonia Guest House (1.5 km/0.9 miles)
Hospedaje Las Amazonas (3 km/1.9 miles)
Luna Llena (3.1 km/1.9 miles)
Las Colinas Hospedaje (3.2 km/2 miles)
