Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport, opened in 1954, is the busiest in Angola. It operates with domestic and international flights to destinations in Africa and some locations in Europe, America, the Middle East and the Far East.

What services does Luanda airport (LAD) facilities include

The airport has a bank, currency exchange services and post office. The Pall Lounge is located on the first floor and is open since the first international flight departure until the last (available only for international flights); it provides refreshments, drinks, TV, air conditioning, Wi-Fi (accessible with Priority Pass, DragonPass or Diners Club membership, or by paying at the door).

Food and Drinks- The enclosure offers a restaurant and a bar.
Shopping- Duty-free shops are available.
Baggage- Baggage wrapping service inside the terminal. In case of missing luggage, contact the offices of the appropriate airline.

Public and private transportation

Bus - The national bus service has just re-opened, but routes are not organized yet. There are some local services inside the city. It is recommended to make arrangements beforehand with the staff from your hotel.

Taxi - Cabs available around the clock outside the terminal building. Drivers only accept cash. The trip to the city centre takes around 15 minutes.
