César Manrique-Lanzarote International Airport, opened on July 24, 1941, is the third busiest in the Canary Islands, behind Gran Canaria and Tenerife Sur airports, and is one of the most important in Spain due to its tourist interest. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should inform their airline about their needs at the moment of their booking.
