Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
While San Andres airport is open 24 hours a day, keep in mind that facilities are limited, so you won't find much to do while waiting to board.
Where to rest: There are not many seats inside the terminal, so it is common for transit passengers to lie down on the floor. It is best to have a sleeping bag or blankets. In the Departures Hall, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities, but be aware that it closes at night. On the other hand, there is plenty of accommodation nearby, as the airport is located very close to the city.
Baggage: There are no lockers or luggage storage facilities on the premises.
Eating and drinking: The shops in the terminal are closed at night.
