Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport (AGP), opened on 1 September 1919, is the oldest international airport in Spain and one of the most important in the country. It serves as the main gateway to the Costa del Sol, operating an extensive network of domestic and international flights to destinations in Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, and the Americas.

Terminals
The airport has two passenger terminals that operate 24 hours a day and are physically connected, allowing pedestrian transit between them.
- Terminal 2 (Pablo Ruiz Picasso): Mainly domestic and Schengen flights.
- Terminal 3: The largest terminal, handling most international (non-Schengen) flights.

Information Points
Aena information desks are located on the ground floor and first floor of Terminal 3. In the check-in area there is a passenger service office. In addition, tourist offices are located in the Arrivals Hall.

There are several parking options adapted to different needs, from short stays to long-term parking, with additional services for added convenience.
Parking Options
- General Parking P1: This is the most commonly used option for stays of up to 4 days and for dropping off or picking up passengers. It is only a 2–3 minute walk from the terminals.
- Express Parking: Ideal for very short stays and for quickly dropping off or picking up passengers in the Departures area. The first 10 minutes are free, with a maximum stay of 2 hours.
- Long-Stay Parking: Designed for trips lasting several days or weeks. Offers both covered and uncovered spaces. There is a free shuttle bus service connecting to the terminals in approximately 5–10 minutes. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes from 7:00 to 0:00, while at night it operates on demand only.
- Arrivals Parking: Provides the quickest and most direct access to the Arrivals area. Recommended for short stays, perfect for comfortably picking up passengers.
- VIP Parking: Offers an exclusive valet parking service. Airport staff collect and deliver the vehicle directly at the Arrivals area, without the need to search for a space.

Facilities for passengers with special needs
Málaga Airport is committed to accessibility and offers a variety of facilities and services for passengers with special needs, reduced mobility, or those requiring additional assistance.
Assistance Services for Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM)
Requesting Assistance: Passengers requiring special assistance must request it at least 48 hours before their flight. The request should be made through the airline, travel agency, or tour operator. This request is managed via the free assistance service for persons with reduced mobility provided by Aena at all its airports.
Meeting Points: The airport has designated meeting points both outside and inside the terminals, where passengers can wait for the pre-arranged assistance.

- Wheelchairs available upon request.
- Reserved parking spaces in areas closest to the terminals.

Unaccompanied Minors Service
The airport facilitates the transit of minors travelling alone, although the management of this service lies directly with the airlines.
- Ages: Generally available for minors between 5 and 12 years old, although the minimum age may vary depending on each airline's policy.
- Request: This service must be arranged directly with the airline at the time of ticket booking, as they are responsible for accompanying the minor throughout the travel process.
