Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Alicante airport is open 24 hours a day and is constantly busy, so it is common to see passengers waiting for their flight to depart during the night. It is a safe and quiet place to spend the night.
Where to rest: Although there are some seats without armrests inside the airport, the best option may be to sleep on the floor, especially in the Arrivals Hall, which is usually darker. It is best to have blankets or a sleeping bag for comfort. There is also a VIP lounge inside the terminal, which can be accessed by paying or through various memberships. The only problem is that it closes at night and the maximum stay is 4 hours. On the other hand, there are several hotels in nearby towns.
Baggage: A left-luggage service is available on the second floor.
Eating and drinking: In addition to vending machines, you will find some cafeterias that remain open during the night.
Wi-Fi: It is free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, nursing room.
