Stockholm Arlanda Airport, opened on April 1, 1962, is the most important in Sweden and one of the largest in Europe. It operates domestic and international flights to major destinations in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and North America.

Number of Terminals - 4 - Terminals 2 (international flights), 3 (currently unused), 4 and 5 (domestic and international flights). Open 24 hours a day. Terminals 2 and 3 (Arlanda South) are connected by a walkway, as are terminals 4 and 5 (Arlanda North). Both sectors are served free of charge by buses and the Arlanda Express train.

The airport is located in the municipality of Sigtuna, 40 km (25 miles) north of Stockholm and 31 km (19 miles) southeast of Uppsala.

There are several parking options within the site. All have cameras and security personnel. Dedicated motorbike parking and charging stations for electric vehicles are also available. P2 Beta & P3 Alfa - Low-cost open-air areas, with free shuttle bus service every 10-15 minutes, 24 hours a day.
Premium SkyCity - Adjacent to the SkyCity building and the terminals, with heated spaces.

P41 - Multi-level car park directly connected to Terminal 4.

Contact your travel agent or airline in advance if you require special assistance or wheelchairs. Persons with reduced mobility are entitled to escort services through the airport and through passport and customs control. There are reserved parking spaces, elevators, ramps, accessible toilets and telephones, tactile surfaces and induction loops. Unaccompanied minors between the ages of 5 and 11 will be escorted through security, customs and passport control and supervised during the flight.
