Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (ASW)
Possibility to spend the night at Aswan-Daraw airport (ASW), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.
Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Although Aswan Airport is small and has limited facilities, it remains open 24 hours a day. This allows you to spend the night inside the premises if you have an early morning flight or if your flight is cancelled or delayed.
Where to rest: There are no dedicated rest areas, but you can use one of the benches in the terminal. However, security staff may ask you to move. It’s a good idea to have a blanket or inflatable mattress on hand in case you need to lie down on the floor. On the other hand, there are two VIP lounges within the terminal that offer greater comfort and remain open overnight, but keep in mind that the maximum stay is 3 hours. Many of the hotels in Aswan offer a shuttle service from the airport if you book in advance.
Baggage: There are no lockers or luggage storage offices at the moment.
Food and Drink: There aren't many options within the terminal, but at least one café is open around the clock.
Wi-Fi: Access is available within the airport premises.
