Spending the night at the airport
Atlanta Airport handles numerous flights and connections not only within the United States but also around the world, so it remains busy even during the night. Flight delays or cancellations due to adverse weather are common. For better rest, it is recommended to bring a sleep mask, earplugs, and blankets.
Where to rest: Most seats have armrests. The best place to sleep is Concourse F of the International Terminal, especially on the mezzanine level. However, you can also find some comfortable benches in Concourses D and E, and armrest-free seats along the corridor near gate A10. Additionally, the carpeted hallway between Concourses A and B is suitable if you have a sleeping bag.
If you have a larger budget, you can book one of the Minute Suites by the hour or for an overnight stay. On the other hand, all concourses (domestic and international) have VIP lounges offering greater comfort, although they close overnight. Several hotels are connected to the terminals via the SkyTrain, and many other nearby options offer shuttle service for their guests.
Baggage: There is currently no left-luggage service available within the airport facilities.
Eating and drinking: Several food outlets around the terminal remain open throughout the night. See all dining options
Restrooms: Showers only inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, shops, chapels, nursing rooms.
