Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Belém Airport is busy during the day, but is usually quiet in the evenings, offering a quiet space in which to spend the night if your flight is delayed or if you arrive late at night and have an early flight the next morning.
Where to rest: The seats in the terminal are short, so they are not very comfortable for lying down. If you have a sleeping bag, you can head to the upper level, where you will find quiet places to rest. In the boarding area, there are also two VIP lounges open 24 hours a day in case you have a bigger budget, while on the first floor, you can rent a private room.
Baggage: Luggage storage office in the check-in hall, open 24 hours a day.
Eating and drinking: Throughout the grounds you will find several options that remain open during the night.
Restrooms: Showers available inside the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free access in 1-hour sessions.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, pharmacy, chapel, baby changing area, medical clinic, beauty salon.
