 Passenger Guide

Berlin Brandenburg Airport Willy Brandt is Berlin's new airport, replacing Tegel and Schönefeld airports. After several years of delay, it finally opened on October 31, 2020. It operates domestic and international flights around the world.

Number of Terminals - 2 - T1 (main terminal) and T2 (for low-cost airlines), connected by pedestrian walkways.

Annual passenger traffic: 19.8 million passengers went through it in 2022.

Information counters in the Arrivals area, level E0, check-in hall 1-8, level E1, and next to gate C02 of the Departures area, level E2, open around the clock. Tourist information office on level E0, public area, from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.

The airport is situated in Schönefeld, 18 km (11 miles) south of the centre of Berlin.

The airport has 5 modern car parks and 3 ground-level parking lots. All are equipped with sanitary facilities, as well as bright staircases and lifts to ensure barrier-free arrival and departure, and monitors with relevant information on departures and arrivals. Kiss & Fly - Located directly in front of Terminal 1, on level E0. The first 10 minutes are free of charge.
P1 Premium Parking - Covered spaces located 100 metres from the entrance to the terminals, on level U1. It also has a VIP area with larger spaces and security cameras.
P2 Premium Parking - Outdoor area 200 metres from the terminals.
P3 Comfort Parking - Located 150 metres away, on level U1, and offers charging stations for electric vehicles.
P4 - Car sharing area, 400 metres away.
P6 Economy Parking - Outdoor economy option, located 500 metres from the terminals, level U1.
P7/P8 Comfort Parking - Car parks located 150 metres away, uncovered, connected by a bridge on level 3.
P107 Low Budget Parking - Low cost, located 1.7 km from the terminals.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

The airport is fully accessible for disabled passengers.

To use the free mobility service, inform your airline, tour operator or travel agent of the extent of the assistance you require at least 48 hours before departure, but preferably at the time of booking your flight. Simply indicate the extent of your mobility restriction.

Timely registration will enable the necessary resources to be provided. It should be noted that late check-in may result in longer waiting times for the passenger.
