Beirut airport (BEY)

Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport, opened on 23 April 1954, is Lebanon's only operational commercial air station. It operates flights to destinations in the Middle East, Europe and the Arab countries of Africa.

The airport is located in the southern suburbs of Beirut, 9 km (5.6 miles) south of the city centre.
