Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Bergen airport closes for the night, but you can stay until the next morning if you present a valid flight ticket or travel document. You will need to stay in the public area once the security checkpoint closes. Have a sleeping mask handy, as the place is brightly lit even at night.
Where to rest: In the domestic sector, you will find plenty of padded seats without armrests. Between the ground floor and the first floor, next to the boarding hall, there is a quiet area with recliners. On level 3, there is a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it is closed at night. There is also a hotel connected to the terminal and another accommodation close to the terminal.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage facilities inside the airport.
Eating and drinking: the food outlets are closed at night.
Wi-Fi: Free for 4 hours.
Other services available 24 hours a day: ATMs, baby changing facilities, children's entertainment areas.
