Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport (BKK)

Suvarnabhumi International Airport, also known as Bangkok International Airport and opened on 28 September 2006, is the most important in Thailand and one of the busiest and most modern airports in the world. It operates domestic and international flights in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, Oceania and Africa.

The airport is located in the town of Racha Thewa (Bang Phli district, Samut Prakan province), 30 km (18.7 miles) east of Bangkok.

Car Parks 1, 2, 3, 4 - Short stay areas opposite the terminal. No charge for the first 15 minutes.
Long-term Car Park - Long-term parking next to the public transport hub. Connected to the main building by a free shuttle bus service.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Inform your airline of your particular needs prior to arrival. On-site facilities include elevators, adapted toilets and telephones, and reserved parking spaces. Children between the ages of 8 and 11 travelling alone will be escorted through the necessary procedures by airline staff.
