Spending the night at the airport

Suvarnabhumi Airport is well-suited for passengers with connecting flights or early morning departures who need to spend part of the night inside the terminal. In addition to being open 24 hours a day, it offers several comfortable seats for resting, as well as quiet areas. It is advisable to bring a sleep mask, as the lights are very bright. The airport can also be quite noisy, so earplugs or noise-cancelling headphones are recommended.

Where to rest: You will find many armrest-free benches throughout the premises that can be moved around to create a makeshift bed — for example, near baggage carousels 11-12. On the seventh floor, the observation deck provides a quiet area with comfortable chairs and moderate air conditioning to avoid the cold.

On level B, near some retail shops, there are comfortable seats. Also on this level, the area near the entrance to the train station is quite peaceful, as the service does not operate at night; having a blanket is recommended, as it can be rather chilly there.

Another comfortable option is the prayer room. The third-floor food court, in the domestic area, is another place that tends to be quieter at night. Additionally, the airport VIP lounges provide more comfort and privacy, and some are open 24 hours a day.

Within the premises, there are also two transit hotels, a capsule hotel, and a hotel directly connected to the terminal.

Baggage: 24-hour luggage storage service available on the second and fourth floors.

Eating and drinking: In the ground transportation area on the lower ground floor, there is a food court open 24 hours.

Restrooms: Showers are only available in the VIP lounges.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited access.

Other services available around the clock: Currency exchange offices, ATMs, prayer room, children's play areas.
