Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Bari airport is open 24 hours a day, but in general, there are few people during the night, so it will be a quiet stay. However, it is advisable to bring a sleeping mask, headphones or earplugs, as the lights stay on and the cleaning staff are often noisy.
Where to rest: The quietest place is the top floor. However, the seats here have armrests. This means that your best option is to lie down on the floor. Have a sleeping bag or blankets handy for a better rest. Inside the terminal, there is also a VIP lounge with more amenities, but it closes at night. On the other hand, there is a hotel just outside the terminal.
Baggage: There are no left-luggage services inside the airport.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores are closed at night. Have refreshments prepared in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, nursing rooms.
