Milan Rastislav Stefánik Airport (BTS), opened in 1951, is Slovakia's main international airport. It serves as a key connection hub for the country, operating domestic flights (infrequent) and numerous international routes within Europe, as well as to destinations in the Middle East and North Africa.

Several parking options are available, both for short and long stays, all operating 24 hours a day. The first 15 minutes are free in all areas.

- Payment stations: Payment machines are located in the car parks themselves as well as in the Departures and Arrivals areas.
- Online booking: It is recommended to book your parking space in advance, especially for long stays, to ensure availability and potentially better rates.

Parking Options

P1 (Short Stay):
Located directly in front of the terminal building, this is the most convenient option for dropping off or picking up passengers.

P2 (Long Stay):
The airport’s largest car park, situated just a few steps from the Departure and Arrival Halls. It is an open-air car park monitored by a CCTV system.

P3 (Long Stay with Shuttle):
This car park is located approximately 1.5 km from the terminal. A free shuttle bus service operates 24/7, every 10–15 minutes, with a journey time of around 3 minutes.
Facilities for passengers with special needs
The airport provides assistance services for passengers with reduced mobility and special needs (PRM). To ensure proper assistance, it is essential that you inform your airline, travel agency or tour operator of your specific requirements at least 48 hours before your scheduled flight departure.
Facilities and Services
- The airport has accessible facilities, including access ramps, lifts and adapted toilets for passengers with reduced mobility.
- Wheelchairs are available, and airport staff are trained to assist passengers from their arrival at the airport to boarding the aircraft, and vice versa.
- Designated and reserved parking spaces are available in car parks P1 and P2. Holders of the ZTP card (severe disability) are entitled to 1 hour of free parking in P1. This benefit can be requested at the main cash desk located in P2, by presenting the ZTP card.
- Special changing tables for older children or adults with disabilities are available in the non-public area of the Departure Hall (behind the security control, near the passport control) and in the Arrivals Hall, next to the baggage belts.
Assistance Points
The assistance contact point is located at the entrance to the Departures Terminal and is clearly signposted. From there, an assistant will collect the passenger and help with all procedures up to boarding.
