Buses
Public transport is operated by the company BKK. The bus stop is located on the arrivals level, between both terminals. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket machines at the stops, at the airport information counters, or via the mobile application BudapestGO.
Line 100E (Direct Connection to the City Centre)
This is the express service and the most direct one to the city centre (Deák Ferenc tér, Kálvin tér, Astoria), operating 24 hours a day. It is a special fare service and runs very frequently, usually every 6-10 minutes during the day.
Line 200E (Connection to Metro/Train)
Line 200E is the standard route to connect the airport with the public transport network. During the day, it operates between the airport and Köbánya-Kispest metro station. To reach the city centre, passengers need to transfer to metro line M3 at that station. At night, the service extends to Határ út station, where passengers can connect with the night bus lines towards the city centre.
Private and Shared Transfers
The official shared door-to-door transfer service is operated by MiniBUD. It operates 24 hours a day and offers per-person fares. Booking can be made online or at the counters located in the arrivals halls of both terminals. The service allows direct arrival to the desired address in Budapest.
Trains
The nearest railway station to the airport is Ferihegy, accessible via bus line 200E. From Ferihegy station, trains operated by MÁV connect to Nyugati railway station (Nyugati pályaudvar) in central Budapest. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Rent a Car
Taxis
The official taxi service is operated by Fötaxi. Their service counters are located at the exits of the arrivals areas of both terminals. Taxis are parked right in front of the terminals. The fare to the city centre is regulated by the municipal government and the travel time is approximately 25 minutes, with fixed zone-based fares. Car-sharing
Car-sharing vehicles from GreenGo, MOL Limo and wigo are available for rental by the minute. The cars designated for this service are located in the Holiday Parking area. Pre-registration is required through their mobile applications.
