Cagliari airport (CAG)

Cagliari-Elmas Airport, opened on May 3, 1937, is the busiest on the island of Sardinia. It operates domestic destinations and regular and seasonal international flights to countries in Europe and the Middle East.

The airport is located in the city of Elmas, 5 km (3 miles) northwest from Cagliari.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to notify their airline or travel agent of their particular needs at the time of booking or at least 48 hours in advance. There are reserved parking spaces in front of the entrance to the boarding area, a dedicated lounge for passengers with reduced mobility, adapted toilets, tactile walkways to facilitate movement through the concourse, elevators, Braille signage and lift-equipped vehicles for boarding and disembarking from the aircraft.
