Charlotte Airport is open 24 hours a day, so you can stay overnight inside the premises if you have an early morning flight or if your flight is cancelled due to adverse weather (in the latter case, airport staff may provide you with a sleeping cot). You must remain in the public area once the security checkpoints close at night. Make sure to bring something warm, as the air conditioning can be quite strong.

Where to rest: There are few comfortable places in the public area of the terminal, except for some padded benches in Concourse E. If you have a sleeping bag, you can lie down inside the chapel, next to the ticket counters, or under the staircase in the baggage claim area. Another option (either paid or using a credit card that offers the service) is to access one of the VIP lounges, although most of them close at night. Alternatively, there are private Minute Suites cabins available to rest for a few hours, and if you decide to head to a hotel, several are located nearby. Some offer shuttle services if booked in advance.

Baggage: There is no left-luggage service available in the terminal.

Eating and drinking: Some food outlets on levels 1 and 2 remain open overnight; otherwise, vending machines are available.

Restrooms: Showers are available inside the Minute Suites (from USD30.00).

Wi-Fi: Free access available.
