Chiang Mai airport (CNX)

Chiang Mai International Airport, opened on 1 October 1921, is one of the most important in Thailand. In addition to domestic flights, it operates international destinations in Southeast Asia and the Far East.

Chiang Mai airport is located 4 km (2.5 miles) south of the city centre.

An outdoor area is available for short and long stays in front of the terminals. The first 8 minutes of your stay are free of charge.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include elevators, adapted toilets and telephones, and reserved parking spaces. Should you require special assistance, inform your airline of your particular needs in advance. Children between the ages of 8 and 11 travelling alone will be accompanied by airline staff through the various checkpoints.
