Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area

Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.

Spending the night at the airport

Chiang Mai airport is not the most comfortable place to rest, so it's advisable to bring a sleeping bag, blankets, a sleeping mask and earplugs.

Where to rest: There aren't many possibilities inside the airport, except for a few benches without armrests to the left of the main entrance and some VIP lounges that close at night. Around the airport, you can find different types of accommodation.

Baggage: There are no left-luggage facilities inside the airport at this time.

Eating and drinking: Shops tend to close at night, so it is advisable to have plenty of food and water beforehand.

Wi-Fi: The service is free for 2 hours.
