The airport is located in Gosselies, in the Hainaut province of the Walloon region, 7 km (4.3 miles) north of Charleroi city centre and 46 km (29 miles) south of Brussels.

There are several parking areas for short and long stays. Rates
Express – Directly in front of the terminals, for passenger drop-off.
Lock Park – Multi-level car park with direct access to the terminals. Pre-booking only.
P1, P2 – Covered and open-air spaces, 5–10 minutes from the main building. Free spaces for motorbikes and bicycles on level 0 of P2.
P3, P4 – Remote areas 20 min. from the terminals. Online reservation only.
Reserved spaces are available in the car parks. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs must inform their airline or travel agency of their needs at least 48 hours in advance. Special assistance points are located on the esplanade in front of Terminal 1 and next to the check-in counters in Terminal 2. Make sure to report to one of them 90 minutes before boarding. Unaccompanied minors will be escorted by airport staff to the aircraft.
