Indira Gandhi International Airport, opened in 1962, is one of the most important airports in India. It operates domestic flights and international routes across much of Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and some destinations in the Americas, Oceania, and Africa.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals 1 and 2 (domestic and low-cost flights) and Terminal 3 (domestic and international flights), open 24 hours a day and connected by a free shuttle bus service every 20 minutes.

The airport is located in Palam, 16 km (9.9 miles) southwest of central New Delhi.

Car rental agencies

Carzonrent (Tel +91 956 044 4846 / 956 044 4859 / 965 057 8811) has offices in the Arrivals Halls of Terminals 1 and 3. You can choose vehicles with or without a driver.

Multi-Level Car Parking – A six-storey facility adjacent to Terminal 3, with 24-hour surveillance and a guided parking system. Connected via moving walkways.
General Parking – Located 50 metres from Terminal 1 and 100 metres from Terminal 2.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Adapted restrooms, accessible counters, lifts with Braille keypads, dedicated check-in counters, reserved waiting areas, transfer services, ambulifts for boarding and disembarking the aircraft, and designated parking spaces. Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs are advised to inform their airline of their needs when booking.
