Spending the night at the airport
Douala airport is not one of the most comfortable or safe for spending the night. In addition, only the boarding areas have air conditioning, while the rest of the terminal is very hot.
Where to rest: There are not many comfortable places and the enclosure is generally pretty filthy. On the other hand, there are a couple of VIP lounges with more amenities, one of which is open around the clock. As for hotels, some of the accommodations in the city offer shuttle services.
