Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
In addition to being open 24 hours a day, Dresden Airport is fairly quiet at night, although not very comfortable.
Where to rest: Seating is limited and uncomfortable, but there is plenty of space. However, on the third floor, you can find benches without armrests where you can lie down. There is also a VIP lounge with more amenities in the boarding area, although it closes at night. Lastly, there are several hotels near the premises. You can contact one of them in advance to check if they offer shuttle services from the airport.
Baggage: Lockers are available 24 hours a day in the main car park.
Eating and drinking: Shops close at night. It is best to have snacks prepared in advance.
Wi-Fi: Free for 2 hours.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, children's play areas, baby care rooms, chapel, petrol station.
