Dakar Blaise Diagne airport (DSS)

Blaise Diagne International Airport, opened on December 7, 2017, is the new inbound and outbound air terminal from Senegal. It operates with international flights to several destinations in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and the United States.

Blaise Diagne airport is found near Diass, 58 km (36 miles) to the west of the city of Dakar.

Public and private transportation

Bus

There are two express services from Senecartours (Tel +221 338 597 777) that connect the airport with the cities of Dakar, Thií¨s and Mbour. Line 1 - Patte d'Oie, Hotel Virage, Hotel King Fahd Palace, Hotel Radisson Blu, Hotel Terrou Bi; line 2 - Hotel Ibis Novotel, Place de l'Independance. Departures from 8:30 am to 4:00 am.
Dakar Dem Dikk (Tel +221 338 241 010) operates line 8 to Yoff, Patte d'Oie, Cité des Eaux, Rocade Fann and Palais de Justice from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Taxi

Yellow-coloured cabs available around the clock outside the main building, in addition to reception and orientation agents. A web application to make reservations is also available. The trip to the city centre takes approximately 1 hour.
