Dortmund Airport, opened on 1 January 1960, is a smaller air terminal in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It serves the eastern region of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan area and is mostly used for charter and low-cost flights. It operates flights to international destinations within Europe.

Short- and long-term parking sectors are available, along with a drop-off and pick-up area directly in front of the terminal at the Departures level (Kiss & Fly). A shuttle bus runs between the car parks and the terminal, with a fare of €2.00. Payment machines are located at the Arrivals level, car park P2, and at bus stops. Rates
