Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) is Michigan’s busiest airport and one of the most important hubs in the United States. It serves as Delta Air Lines’ primary global hub, offering an extensive network of domestic flights and international routes to Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Terminals
The airport has two terminals: the McNamara Terminal and the Evans Terminal. Be sure to confirm which terminal your airline uses. Both operate 24 hours.
Inter-Terminal Connection: A free shuttle bus links both terminals. Stops are located in the Ground Transportation areas and run approximately every 10 minutes.
Internal Connection (McNamara Terminal): Within McNamara Terminal, the ExpressTram carries passengers along nearly one mile of Concourse A, with stations at the center and the north and south ends.
Annual Passenger Traffic: 33 million passengers in 2024.

Information counters are located in the arrivals areas of both terminals. In addition, the airport has a team of volunteers (“Airport Ambassadors”), easily recognized by their distinctive vests, who assist throughout the facility.

Big Blue Deck & McNamara Terminal Parking - Multi-level facilities located in front of each terminal, with short and long-stay spaces and electric vehicle charging stations.

Facilities for passengers with special needs
Facilities include moving walkways, adapted telephones, relief areas for service animals, accessible restrooms, designated parking spaces, Braille signage, visual paging, induction loops.
