Dublin Airport, opened on January 19, 1940, is the busiest in Ireland and serves as the operational hub for Ryanair, the continent's leading low-cost airline. It operates flights to destinations in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and North America.

The airport is located in Collinstown, 10 km (6 miles) north of Dublin.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Facilities include lifts, appropriate signage, adapted toilets, induction loops for the hearing impaired, help points distributed throughout the terminals and designated parking spaces.
