Dubai International Airport, opened in 1960, is the largest in the Middle East. It operates international destinations on all continents.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals 1 (international flights), 2 (regional and low-cost flights) and 3 (international flights), open 24 hours a day. A free shuttle service connects the buildings 24 hours a day. Terminals 1 and 3 are also linked by the metro.

Annual passenger traffic: 66.1 million passengers went through it in 2022.

There are information desks both in the Arrivals and Departures areas of the three terminals. Tourist information desk in the Arrivals Hall of Terminal 3.

The airport is located in the Al Garhoud district, 4.6 km (2.9 miles) east of Dubai city centre.

Parking services at Dubai airport (DXB)

Various parking options are available next to the three terminals, with premium areas next to terminals 1 and 2. Directly in front of the main buildings, there are also spaces for passenger pick-up and drop-off. Tariffs

Short-term - Recommended for periods of up to 5 hours, near the terminal entrances.
Long-term - Areas for longer stays with regular bus service.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

Passengers requiring special assistance or wheelchairs should contact their airline prior to their journey and inform them of their particular needs. Electric trolleys are available for transporting people, as well as special waiting rooms and help desks. There are also reserved parking spaces and special taxis, which can be recognised by their red roof and blue icons on the doors and rear window.
