Transportation
The airport is well connected to Eindhoven city centre and other regional destinations through a variety of public and private transport services.
Public Buses
The operator Hermes manages the public transport connections linking the airport with the railway network and various strategic locations. The bus station is located in the P1 car park area, just a few metres from the terminal. To use these buses, you can travel with an OV-chipkaart, pay by credit/debit card (OVpay), or purchase a digital ticket via the mobile app.
- Line 400 (Airport Shuttle): Connects the airport with Eindhoven Central Station (Eindhoven Centraal) with no intermediate stops in approximately 20 minutes.
- Line 401: Also runs to the central station, but stops in intermediate districts such as Meerhoven and industrial areas. The journey takes around 25–30 minutes.
- Line 20: Provides connections to Best and Veldhoven.
Commercial and Long-Distance Coaches
There are specialised services offering direct connections to more distant cities:
- AirExpressBus: Provides direct transfers to Amsterdam (Central Station), Utrecht and ’s-Hertogenbosch. It is advisable to book tickets in advance via the official website.
- FlixBus: Connects the airport with various cities across Europe, with designated stops within the airport transport area.
Trains
There is no train station directly at the airport. You must take bus 400 or 401 to Eindhoven Central Station, from where you can connect with national and international services operated by Dutch Railways (NS).

Taxis and Ride-sharing
Taxis: The official taxi rank is located immediately outside the terminal, on the right-hand side. It is recommended to use only vehicles waiting in the official lane (“Taxistand”). The journey to the city centre takes approximately 15 minutes, with fares typically ranging between €30.00 and €40.00.
Ride-sharing: Services such as Uber are available at the airport. When requesting a ride via the app, follow the directions to the designated pick-up point for private hire vehicles (usually in the P1 area or the Kiss & Ride zone).
