If you need an
Uber service at the airport, you can use the app to request a ride. Drivers can only pick up passengers in designated areas. It is advisable to check the app for more specific information on pick-up locations and prices.
Bus
A range of
Skylink services (Tel +44 150 981 5637), are available, running every 20 minutes during the day and every hour in the evening: to Nottingham station (55 min. trip; £6.00), via Friar Lane, Beeston, Long Eaton, Castle Donington, Shepshed and Coalville Memorial Square; to Derby bus and train stations (45 min.; £5.30), via Castle Donington, Shardlow and Alvaston; to St. Margaret's terminus, in Leicester (60 min.; £8.20), with intermediate stops at Kegworth and Hathern; and to Loughborough (30 min.; £4.10). Stops are opposite the terminal and tickets can be purchased on board.
The my15 service runs to Castle Donington, Broad Rushes, Long Eaton, Stapleford Memorial Garden, Trowell Church and Ilkeston from 5:07 am to 0:00 am (£5.80).
Midland Classic (Tel +44 128 350 0228) operates bus 9 to Melbourne, Ashby, Swadlincote, Newhall and Burton from 4:20 am to 11:00 pm, departing every hour (£4.80).
Alternatively, National Express buses (Tel +44 871 781 8181) connect the enclosure with Sheffield and Leeds, and Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick airports.
Train
The nearest station is East Midlands Parkway, which is accessible by taxi, for journeys to and from locations outside the East Midlands region.
The Skylink bus runs to Derby, Nottingham and Long Eaton railway stations, connected to Sheffield, Chesterfield, Birmingham, Lincoln, London, and other locations around the United Kingdom via Trainline (Tel +44 871 200 2233).
Taxi
Arrow Cars (Tel +44 133 281 4000) are available 24 hours a day in front of the Arrivals Hall. The journey to Derby takes about 20 minutes and to Nottingham 25 min., costing £30.00-45.00.
