Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Yerevan Airport operates many flights within Europe, so it tends to be quite busy during the night. It is important to note that only local currency is accepted within the premises. The airport is safe, but as in any airport, it is always important to keep a watchful eye on your belongings and stay aware of your surroundings.
Where to rest: While it’s not common to see people sleeping inside the airport, there are many comfortable seats available to rest. Lighting is dimmer in the boarding area. There is also a VIP lounge offering more amenities, open 24 hours a day, although the maximum stay is 2 hours. In the Arrivals Hall, you can also find private capsules that can be rented by the hour. If you don’t feel comfortable spending the night at the airport, there are nearby hotels you may consider. Some offer shuttle services, which can be convenient.
Baggage: There is a baggage storage service in the Arrivals Hall, so you can forget about your luggage while waiting for your flight.
Eating and drinking: Food outlets in the terminal generally remain open 24 hours.
Restrooms: Showers are only available in the VIP lounge.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited access.
Other services available around the clock: Banks, ATMs, currency exchange, pharmacy.
