Transportation
Ezeiza Airport offers multiple options for getting to the City of Buenos Aires and other locations. The offerings include taxis, remises (private cars), ride-hailing services (Uber/Cabify), city buses, and shared or private transfers.
Rent a Car
Taxis and Remises (Private Cars)
To ensure safety and a fixed fare, it is recommended to hire the service at the official counters inside the arrivals hall. The operator Taxi Ezeiza Oficial allows you to pay a pre-set cost that already includes tolls. You will also find counters for remise companies (cars with a driver) such as Manuel Tienda León and Transfer Express. The trip to the city center takes approximately 45-60 minutes, depending on traffic.
Uber and Cabify (Ride-Hailing Services)
Uber and Cabify services are available. After requesting a vehicle through the app, it will indicate the exact meeting point in the parking area, as they cannot access the exclusive taxi stands in front of the terminal. The fare is dynamic and calculated at the time of the request.
City Buses (Colectivos)
This is the most economical alternative, but it requires the mandatory use of the SUBE card, which can be purchased at kiosks in the airport. The stops are located in the outdoor area. It is not a comfortable option if traveling with heavy or bulky luggage.
- Line 8: This is the only useful city bus line for tourists, as it connects the airport with the center of Buenos Aires (Plaza de Mayo) and the Aeroparque Jorge Newbery. It is crucial to make sure you take the branch indicated as "Aeropuerto por Autopista" (Airport via Highway) for a faster journey (70-90 min).
- Other lines (51, 394, 518): Their route goes to locations in the southern suburbs, not being a direct route to the central areas of the capital.
Shuttles and Transfers
These services combine cost and comfort. It is advisable to book online to secure your spot and know the final price in advance.
- Manuel Tienda León: Offers buses with regular frequencies that connect Ezeiza with its terminal in Retiro (Terminal Madero) and with Aeroparque. It has sales counters in the arrivals area.
- Private Transfers (Civitatis): Allows for online booking of private vehicles. A driver waits for the passenger with a sign at the exit of baggage claim, ensuring a door-to-door service without waiting.
