The airport is located 12 km (7.5 miles) west from Baden-Baden, 40 km (25 miles) to the southwest of Karlsruhe and 55 km (34 miles) northeast from Strasbourg.

Facilities for passengers with special needs

The enclosure has reserved parking spaces and an induction system for the hearing-impaired. Guide dogs are permitted. It is advised to inform your airline at least 48 hours in advance about any special needs. Children travelling alone should be accompanied to the airport and picked up by an adult. A boarding agent will take the children through the security checkpoint to the plane.
