Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport, opened on 17 May 1997, serves the state of Baden-Württemberg and part of France. It is the second largest in the state, behind Stuttgart Airport. It is also part of Baden Airpark, an important business park in the region. It operates international flights within Europe and North Africa.

The airport is located in the municipality of Rheinmünster, 12 km (7.5 miles) west of Baden-Baden, 40 km (25 miles) south of Karlsruhe, and 25 km (16 miles) north of Strasbourg, France.

Facilities for passengers with special needs
The airport offers designated parking spaces and an induction system for passengers with hearing impairments. Guide dogs are allowed. It is recommended to inform your airline at least 48 hours in advance about any special needs. Children travelling alone must be accompanied to the airport and picked up by an adult. A boarding agent will escort the children through security and to the aircraft.
