Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR), also known as Peretola Airport, is one of the main gateways to the Tuscany region. Opened on 4 June 1931, it primarily operates domestic flights and international connections within Europe, establishing itself as a key piece of infrastructure for tourism and business in central Italy.

Terminals
The airport has a single passenger terminal that handles all departure and arrival operations. The building remains open to the public from 4:00 am until the arrival of the last flight (approximately 12:30 am).

Information Points
In the arrivals area, you will find a tourist information and passenger assistance office. Opening hours are usually from Monday to Saturday, between 9:00 am and 7:00 pm, and on Sundays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, providing assistance with airport services and transport to the city.

The airport features two official parking areas located a short distance from the terminal, operating 24 hours a day and monitored by a security camera system. In both areas, the first 10 minutes of parking are free of charge, making quick passenger drop-offs and pick-ups easier.
Reservations: You can reserve your parking space online to access preferential rates.
P1 – Short Stay
This area is located directly in front of the arrivals area and is the closest to the check-in counters. It is mainly designed for short stops and accompanying passengers.
P2 – Long Stay
Located next to the terminal, this is the largest car park and is recommended for travellers who need to leave their vehicle for several days. It offers designated parking spaces for passengers with reduced mobility and dedicated areas for motorcycles.
Electric Vehicles: The P2 car park is equipped with electric vehicle charging stations.
Payment: You can pay for your parking at the automatic payment machines (which accept cash and cards) or directly at the exit barriers using credit cards or compatible electronic toll systems.
Facilities for passengers with special needs
Florence Airport ensures accessibility to all its services in accordance with European regulations. The facilities are equipped with adapted toilets, accessible telephones, ramps and lifts to facilitate movement between levels. In addition, there are designated parking spaces for passengers with reduced mobility located close to the terminal.
Requesting assistance: You must inform your airline or travel agency of your specific needs at least 48 hours in advance. This will allow the coordination of wheelchairs and lift-equipped vehicles for boarding and disembarkation if required.
