Münster-Osnabrück Airport, opened on 21 December 1966, is a minor airport in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It serves the northern Ruhr region, Lower Saxony, Emsland, Westphalia, and part of the Netherlands. The airport is located near Greven, 25 km (16 miles) north of Münster and 35 km (22 miles) south of Osnabrück.
