Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Gdańsk airport is small and safe, but be aware that there are usually a lot of people spending the night inside the terminals, so it can be quite noisy. It is advisable to have a sleeping bag or blankets handy, as the place is often very cold.
Where to rest: You'll find plenty of benches and sofas in the main hall where you can settle down to get some sleep. Next to gate 22 is a children's entertainment area where you can lie down on the floor. There is also a VIP lounge in Terminal 2 with more amenities, although it is closed at night, and a hotel is located next to the main building.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage facilities. You will need to stay with your bags until check-in time.
Eating and drinking: Most food outlets are closed at night, but there is an ice cream parlour and a local produce shop open 24 hours a day.
Wi-Fi: Free for 15 minutes.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby care facilities, children's playground.
