Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Baku airport operates many flights and connections, so there are often passengers waiting for their flight to depart overnight.
Where to rest: There are benches without armrests in the main waiting hall, while more comfortable seating can be found on the third floor of Terminal 2. In general, the boarding area is more comfortable than the public sector. If you're willing to pay a little more for extra comfort, you can opt for access to one of the VIP lounges, which are open all night (with a maximum stay of 2 hours). If you prefer to rest in a bed and have more privacy, you can consider booking a room in the hotel located on the grounds. There are also sleep cabins on the third floor of Terminal 1.
Baggage: There is no left-luggage service, so you will have to stay with your bags until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Most options are open 24 hours a day, including vending machines throughout the concourse.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange bureaus, baby changing facilities, children's play area, duty-free.
