Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Baku Airport operates many flights and connections, so there are often numerous passengers waiting overnight for their departures.
Where to rest: The main waiting area has benches without armrests, while more comfortable seating can be found on the third floor of Terminal 2. In general, the boarding area is more comfortable than the public zone. If you are willing to pay a bit more for extra comfort, you can access one of the VIP lounges, which remain open all night (maximum stay of 2 hours). If you prefer to sleep in a bed with more privacy, consider booking a room at one of the nearby hotels. Additionally, there are rest pods on the third floor of Terminal 1.
Baggage: There is no left-luggage service, so you will need to keep your bags with you until check-in.
Eating and drinking: Most options are open 24 hours, including vending machines throughout the premises.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, currency exchange offices, baby changing facilities, children's play area, duty-free.
