Sleeping inside or in nearby hotels (HAN)
Possibility to spend the night at Hanoi airport (HAN), if open 24 hours. Services available, places to rest (free resting zones), or look for the list of nearby hotels and vip lounges.
Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Hanoi Airport handles many flights and connections, so it is common to see passengers waiting for their departure even overnight. If you plan to stay overnight inside the premises, it is advisable to arrive early to secure a place to sleep. Bringing a blanket or pillow is also a good idea for added comfort.
Where to rest: Terminal 1 is not very comfortable for resting. On the other hand, Terminal 2 has many seats, although most have armrests. On the third floor, there is a rest area with padded loungers, but these are limited and can fill up quickly. VIP lounges are also available in both terminals for those with a higher budget; they offer a more comfortable and private space to sleep, along with additional services. Private sleep pods and nearby hotels with shuttle services are also available.
Baggage: 24-hour luggage storage is available on the second floor of Terminal 2.
Eating and drinking: Most outlets close at night, except for Big Bowl, which is open 24 hours and has branches in both terminals.
Restrooms: Showers are available only in the VIP lounges.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby care rooms, children's play areas.
