Alexandria El Nouzha airport (HBE)

Borg El Arab Airport serves the city of Alexandria and the Nile Delta area, and since 2011 it replaced El Nhouza airport which closed for renovation although the spare parts never materialized. In addition to domestic flights, it has international destinations to Turkey, Libya, and some Middle Eastern countries such as Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
