Spending the night at the airport

Although Borg El Arab Airport is open 24 hours a day and it is technically possible to spend the night inside, this option is not highly recommended. The facilities are limited, there is not much to do for entertainment, and in general, the staff does not allow passengers to enter until 3 hours before check-in.

Where to rest: There are a few chairs inside the terminal where you can lie down, but security staff will likely wake you up constantly to ask for your documents. If you must spend the night at the airport, the best option is to use one of the benches in the café located in front of the terminal. There is a VIP lounge in the boarding area that is open around the clock, but the maximum stay is 3 hours. The nearest hotels are located in the city centre.

Baggage: There are no luggage storage offices or lockers.

Food and Drink: The options inside the terminal close at night, but there is a café open all night in front of the building.

Wi-Fi: Free for 15 minutes.
