Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Frankfurt-Hahn airport does not have many amenities. Although the terminal is open around the clock, layover passengers will have to remain in the public area once the security checkpoint closes for the night. Earplugs or headphones could be needed because of the loud noises.
Where to rest: Options for resting inside the airport are limited, and most seats (which are few) are made of metal, although many of them do not have armrests. In addition, you will find carpeted floors in some corners. An alternative to enjoy more privacy is to rest inside the prayer room. There is a hotel opposite the enclosure and more accommodations in the vicinity.
Baggage: Lockers available 24 hours a day in car park P1.
Eating and drinking: Commercial stores close at night, so you will only have vending machines.
Wi-Fi: Free for 1 hour.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities, prayer room.
