Tokyo Haneda airport (HND)

Haneda International Airport, opened on 25 August 1931, is the most important in the country and one of the busiest in the world. It handles all domestic flights in the area and operates international flights to Southeast Asia, North America, the Middle East, Europe, and Oceania.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals 1 and 2 (domestic flights, open from 5:00 am to 0:00 am) and Terminal 3 (international fights, open 24 hours a day). Terminals 1 and 2 are connected via an underground walkway. Additionally, a complimentary shuttle bus service connects all terminals every 4-8 minutes from 4:15 am to 1:30 am.

The information centre is located on the first floor of Terminal 1 and operates from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. There are also information counters and enquiry phones at various points within the airport, as well as tourist offices on the second floor of Terminals 2 and 3 (Tel +81 3 6428 5840).

The airport is located in the Ota ward, 15 km (9.3 miles) south of central Tokyo.

In front of each terminal, there are multi-level facilities open 24 hours a day, with spaces for short- and long-term stays, charging stations for electric vehicles, and motorcycle parking.
