Tokyo International Airport, also known as Haneda Airport and opened on 25 August 1931, is the most important in the country and one of the busiest in the world. It concentrates all domestic flights in the area and operates international flights to Southeast Asia, North America, the Middle East, Europe and Oceania.

Number of Terminals - 3 - Terminals 1 and 2 (domestic flights, open from 5:00 am to 0:00 am) and International Terminal (open 24 hours a day). Terminals 1 and 2 are linked by an underground walkway. In addition, a courtesy shuttle service connects all terminals with each other every 4-8 minutes between 5:00 am and 0:00 am.

The information centre is found on the first floor of Terminal 1 and operates from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm. There are also information counters and telephones at various locations throughout the enclosure and tourist offices on the second floor of terminals 2 and 3 (Tel +81 364 285 840).
The airport is situated in the town of ÅŒta, 15 km (9.3 miles) south of Tokyo.

In front of each terminal, there are multi-level facilities open 24 hours a day, with spaces for short and long stays, charging stations for electric vehicles and spaces for motorbikes.
