Spending the night at the airport

Haneda Airport is a safe place with modern facilities, making it a comfortable option for spending the night if you plan ahead. Terminals 1 and 2 close at night, but Terminal 3 remains open 24 hours. Make sure to have essential travel items, such as a travel pillow, a light blanket, an eye mask, and earplugs. Security staff may ask for proof that you have a flight the next morning, so keep your ticket ready.

Where to rest: The airport offers a comfortable environment for overnight stays, with many armrest-free benches and carpeted areas, especially on the third floor of Terminal 3 and above the check-in level. If you have a bigger budget, there are also numerous lounges with greater comfort and privacy, some of which remain open overnight. Additionally, hotels are available within Terminals 1 and 2 and adjacent to Terminal 3.

Baggage: Lockers and luggage storage are available in all three terminals.

Eating and drinking: Options available overnight in Terminals 2 and 3.

Restrooms: In the Domestic Arrivals area of Terminal 2 (5:00 am to 10:00 pm) and on the second floor of Terminal 3 (24 hours), you can rent a shower with various services and amenities.

Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.

Other services available around the clock: Currency exchange offices, convenience stores, baby changing facilities, children's play areas.
