Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL)—commonly known as Honolulu Airport—is the primary gateway to the Hawaiian Islands and a major hub for trans-Pacific flights. It operates an extensive network of interisland services as well as routes to the North American mainland, Asia, and Oceania.

Terminals
The airport has three terminals: Terminal 1, Terminal 2, and Terminal 3. All operate 24 hours, though services and concessions may keep limited hours.
Inter-Terminal Connections: A free shuttle service known as the Wiki Wiki Shuttle links the terminals. Note that it runs on a limited schedule, approximately 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Annual Passenger Traffic: 21.9 million passengers in 2024.

Visitor Information Booths are located in the arrivals and baggage-claim areas of Terminals 1 and 2. In addition, the airport has a Traveler’s Aid program with staff and volunteers available to assist passengers.
Location
The airport is located on the island of Oahu, 6 km (4 miles) west of the city of Honolulu and 15 km (9 miles) from Waikiki Beach.

Parking services at Honolulu airport (HNL)
The site has several parking areas, open 24 hours a day. The first 15 minutes are free of charge. There are also two sectors for passenger pick-up that are free of charge for 60 minutes (Diamond Head Cell Phone Area and Ewa Cell Phone Waiting Area), and spaces for bicycles and motorcycles. International Parking Garage - Eight-story facility between Terminals 1 and 2, connected to the upper level of Terminal 1 by a bridge and with charging stations for electric vehicles.
Terminal 1 Parking Garage - Adjacent to Terminal 1, with seven levels.
Terminal 2 Parking Garage - Five floors located directly across from Terminal 2 and connected to it by walkways on level 4.
Facilities for passengers with special needs
Facilities include elevators, ramps, adapted toilets and telephones, and reserved parking spaces. The transportation systems in and around the airport are accessible to passengers with reduced mobility, and wheelchairs are provided by the airlines.
