Jacksonville International Airport (JAX), opened at its current location in 1968, is the primary gateway to Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia. It operates an extensive network of domestic flights and offers international connections to the Caribbean and Canada.

Terminal
The airport has a single passenger terminal operating 24 hours a day. Access to the gates is divided between two concourses: Concourse A and Concourse C.
Annual Passenger Traffic: More than 7.6 million passengers transited the airport in 2024, setting an all-time record.

Information counters are located on the upper level in the ticketing area. In addition, the airport has a Visitor Welcome Center on the lower level, in baggage claim, and a team of volunteer ambassadors who assist passengers.

There are several parking lots for short and long stays. Valet parking is available in front of the Departures level. Next to the administrative building, there is a free area for passengers pick-up (Cell Phone Lot). Facilities for passengers with special needs
Within the premises, there are elevators, adapted toilets and telephones, wheelchairs, a relief area for service animals and reserved parking spaces.
