Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Kazan airport is open 24 hours a day, so you can spend the night inside if you have an early morning flight. The place is relatively safe, but you should always be aware of your belongings and keep them close to you at all times. Don't leave your valuables unattended and make sure you have your important travel documents with you.
Where to rest: There aren't many amenities inside the enclosure, so you'll probably have to sleep on the floor. Consider bringing a blanket or an inflatable pillow. On the other hand, there are several VIP lounges that are open 24 hours a day and offer more comfort and privacy. There are also several hotels in the vicinity of the site, so consider booking a room for a more relaxing stay.
Baggage: There is a 24-hour luggage storage office on the ground floor of Terminal 1.
Eating and drinking: There are several options open throughout the night, with bars, cafes and restaurants.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing room.
