Overnight layover guide. Sleeping facilities in the public zone or boarding area
Please note that some published services and schedules may be subject to change. If the idea is to spend the night in the public area, consider a plan B in case the stay inside the airport is only allowed for those who are about to board.
Spending the night at the airport
Leeds airport is open 24 hours a day. However, passengers wishing to spend the night inside the airport should stay in the public area once the security checkpoint closes.
Where to rest: The best area is the Arrivals Hall, as it is warmer and there are fewer lights. You can also enter the VIP lounges, although they close at night. Another option is to check in at one of the hotels near the airport.
Baggage: There are no luggage storage facilities. This means you will have to stay with your bags until you can check in.
Eating and drinking: The options available inside the terminal close at night, but vending machines are available.
Wi-Fi: Free and unlimited.
Other services available around the clock: ATMs, baby changing facilities.
